ABOUT
Krile is one of the main characters from Final Fantasy V. She is the Princess of Bal and granddaughter of Galuf Halm Baldesion. After certain events in the game, which are spoilery but you probably know already if you've heard of FFV, she joins the party. Like her grandfather, she represents the element of Earth and its essence, Hope. She is fourteen years old (fifteen in the epilogue). She's five foot one with curly-ish blond hair that she keeps in a ponytail.
Personality
As the holder of the essence of Hope, Krile deliberately cultivates an optimistic, cheerful outlook on life. She isn't ignorant of danger, fear, or sorrow; she knows them all intimately. However, she believes that things can be better, and she sets herself to work so that they will be better. She considers it her responsibility to help and protect others from danger, both physical danger and the dangers of despair.
She loves making friends and gets close to others easily. Unfortunately for them, she likes to show her affection through teasing, bad puns, and generally being a smart-aleck. She is a perceptive little imp, and if you're the sort who tries to hide sentiment behind a facade, she'll have no compunctions in poking holes in it.
Despite her sunny demeanor, Krile will become lonely and melancholy quite quickly without friends around her. Having grown up in a castle where there were always others around, coupled with the amount of grief she's experienced in her short life, she lacks a need for solitude and will avoid it as much as possible. She can be quite a worrywart about the people important to her, which also drives her to be reckless when she thinks they're in trouble. (Though to be fair, her friends tend to be good at finding trouble.)
Skills
Being from a job class game, Krile has multiple potential skills, though I have a short list of skills I play her with. She is also proficient with a lot of medieval weapon types, and things which should not be weapons and somehow are, because, FF.
Dragoon: Uses spears. Main claim to fame is jumping real high and coming down hard.
Ranger: Archer who can call on various forest animals for a quick heal or a quick bite.
Geomancer: Calls on the power of her surroundings for various effects.
Krile is also the bearer of Unexplained Plot Powers in FFV, so she can talk to animals, see ghosts and spirits, and sometimes illusions.
